Playing traditional Irish music at a joint in Jackson tonight, should be pretty nuts. Dressed for the oc***ion.... And I turn 50 today. O youth misspent...

Hello,

It was a cold day in So Cal as the snow storm had come and gone within days. Not, like today's surprising heat wave. A t-shirt sort of day is warm and it is supposed to be the same for the whole week. Good weather for the Spring Break activities for many colleges and high schools, locally.

But, back when I took this photo, I was on a road trip to photograph several colorful hot rods and motorcycles. It was one of those days that a t-shirt was worn, a long sleeve sweater was layered over and then a leather jacket with fur inside was the required jacket. The owner of the hot rod said come dressed warmly as it is/was very cold.

My wife chuckled as she was still wearing light weight clothes, as it was warm where we were. We could see the same mountains far away as the So Cal flat land heads right up to the local "Big Bear Mountain" ski area. But, I even took my ski gloves and just to be on the safe side, a long sleeve t-shirt...ha!

The owner of the 1939 Chevy hot rod sedan was happy i was going to photograph the cool build. The colorful detailing was perfect for the high mountain side location. YRMV

 

One of my questions is why are they always green? I should go see if it starts after hibernation .
