replaced lower windshield stanchions with painted ones. Gives it a more vintage look IMO.

Looks beautiful either way. With fenders it looks like a car I wish a good friend would own. Without them it looks like a car I'd like to own.
Besides, I'd have a panic attack worrying about a door ding with those fenders on.

  17. Nice job with an eye for the detail. Where did you get the firewall insulation from? Is it worth to have it?

You can get it from many parts suppliers but I only use Joe's
http://www.joesantiqueauto.com/ Best people to deal with and always gets it right. Yes it is worth having it. (fumes - heat)

..... calling Connecticut. Made me smile so much .... shouldn't be tax free. :) Another great thread of yours, Mark. ( In spite of your family and friends. haha !! )

You are a lucky bunch up there. Thanks for a great read.

I need to get down to Texas! In fact I have been communicating with someone from down there about a 32 five window. I did a survey test on where I should live in the country and it came up Texas. I am way too conservative for Connecticut. Thanks Mark

Bring Bob, Ted, Tater and Mike ! :)

Honestly, as much as I love this state .... you and your fellow New Englanders "get it". Definitely my kind of people.
