Need to get started on the floor plans and trans tunnel for a '29 Ford tudor. This is my first A Model project so thought I would ask instead of trying to reinvent the "wheel". Any suggestions and pics on what has worked best would be greatly appreciated. Body is sitting on a Classic Street Rod frame with a 302 and T5 tranny. Original cross channels, floor braces and various other pieces were chopped out by some torch happy goon so I don't have a lot to go on.

    Thanks,

    BB

Welcome, Buzzard. Always helps if you provide pics of what you have. But it sounds like you have no subframe at all. Take a look at any number of Model A build threads here, and you'll get a good idea of what you need and how the toe-board ties into the floor and kick-panels, firewall, etc. There certainly isn't one right way to do it, that's for sure. You could always buy a complete subframe, or build it. Brookville and others have parts. Your decision depends a lot on whether stock configuration will work for you, or if you have a custom setup such as a channeled body, extra high engine/trans position, original position seat or not, etc. Good luck.
