1952-59 Ford Time machine...

Any body have a Time Machine I can borrow to bring a couple of these back from 1955... I got first dibs the Black Merc Wagon and the Yellow Sunliner.

if your having trouble traveling back, i think local auto stores like napa and autozone carry rebuild kits for a Flex Capacitor, lol.

 

Back in '55 it was Western Auto for flux parts - and Plutonium.

 

I can't tell you many times I've watched that movie, just to see the cars, stores, clothes (girls in girl clothes), etc.

The first of those movies came out about a year after I got my driver's liscence and since it was pre-dvd players (and we didn't own a vhs player), I drove myself and whoever I could drag along with me, to see it at the theater multiple times.

Sorry guys, I am only going back for the 9 '55's in the picture and the three transporters.

 

Want to hear something even sadder if the movie was made today and they went back the same amount of time they did originally they would end up in the mid 80s.

 

Yeah...that's a wild thought.

When I bought my 54 in 1986, it was 32 years old. The 76 Plymouth Valiant that I just bought is 34 years old....an older car than my 54 was at the time of purchase.

Oh yeah, must see garage TV. Part 1 and 2 were pretty good. Part 3 kinda ****ed. I watch it a lot - about once to every 3 times for American Graffiti. Great cars and the Four Aces singing. . .

Thanks, Ron. So...where was it before? How come you could see it and me 'n' Scott couldn't? That's not fair, you know, scaring an old guy like that.

 

It was out on the main board, I'd seen it there earlier and used some ESPn to figure out what pic he was talking about. I think he forgot to post the link to the pic in his first note.

The transporter thing kinda threw me at first though, I was wondering if Scotty was gonna beam me up. . .

Dang...a guy could fund his retirement with just what's sitting on those transporters.

 

I wonder why they would have the windows rolled down on the hardtops and the top down on the convertible....doesnt seem like a good way to transport a car.

 

I think that they are publicity shots.
