Hot Rods Time to chop Edna......3", 4" or 5" what would you do?

5’10’ with bad knees and ankles. I had Camaro seats so sat fairly low to the floor, plenty of headroom.

 

C'mon whats the hold up?

 

Chop it 5 and stick your head out the window.

 

I will side with the "no chop" group. Looks perfect as is to me.

 

Guess its going down now, as its been too quite...

Another vote for zero chop.

 

On my profile page is my 29 with a a 5" chop. I love a 5" chop. Make it look chopped if you're gonna do it. Although I think if you chop it, the car should be lowered also(I know it's been stated over and over) .

NEVER thought I would say this. BUT don't cut it. Wrong car to cut.Usually I saw cut it HARD but not this one.

 

From what he posted Tuesday,it sounds like he decided to cut it. HRP

 

I'm thinking wrong style build to chop but we all do what we like. That's hot rodding

Here's the one I'm building right now. Chop is 3". I chopped my old sedan 4" and it looked good, but with the visor was tough to see stop lights. So this one is 3" model A's look good any way you go - chopped or not!

 

Thanks Jake....3 seems more practical, but 4 looks so good. I am starting with 3 and see how it feels.
