Nice to see the family is more important than the car. I love the Chevy, very cl***y.

Cool, a nifty car that the family can cruise in. Sometimes a guy just has to do what works out best and it looks like that will work out great for you and hopefully for the guy you traded the coupe to. Looks like a pretty even up trade to me too.

Nice trade, but now you need to change your name. How about just "Mika"

    Thanks!
Yes, the Chebby will get some shiny paint. It will be nice to get the family with me, that was perhaps the main reason for trade. The another was lack of time.

Good trade! I did the same thing, traded my '34 Chevy 3-window project and my '56 BSA chopper for a '29 Chevy 4-door sedan. I have two boys; one 2 1/2 and one 3 month old. A two seater just wasn't going to work for my family. Good luck with that Chevy 'cause families first!

Getting your responsibilities in order, making the decision and sticking to it. Well done, now you can have fun with all the family. Great looking Chev.

Good trade - you're getting your entire new family to come along, enjoy the hobby together, and that means you have your prio's in order - plus, you've got a really cool car to put the fam into - I love the lines of that Chev!

Thanks again for your comments. I'm pretty happy with the trade now when some time has gone by. Now its time to focus on baby who will born any day now. The Chevy will get some new paint after a while.

Congrats on both new babys...when my kid was a little guy, I stepped up to family car also...a 52 chevy tudor sedan which I later traded for a 56 Pontiac hardtop....always had a car big enough for the entire family. Helps to keep peace in the family.
