As mentioned earlier, my mob are right into ball sports etc., mostly Netball and Rugby League.
My wife, her sister and her lifelong girl friend are in the UK right now doing the usual tourist things, plus exploring their dead relo's gravesites, they'll then fly across the ditch to NY for a ****load of shopping etc.
BUT ..... then they're flying across to LV to watch the NRL games being promoted there before they fly home.

SO ..... I guess it's NOT hard to understand why I, and the other two husbands didn't join them.

There are no TVs in my house so I rarely have a clue as to what the normies are wasting time with. I've got work to do, family to enjoy and cars to fix. Ain't got time to waste watching a bunch of dumb***es prance around a field chasing a ball... never understood it.

Years ago I won a contest at work, a trip to the superbowl. Had to call my brother to find out who was playing. It was a party all weekend, but they knew who they were dealing with, did not give us the tickets as they knew we would have just sold them. You can see the game better on the tv if you care.

I thought it was a huge embarr***ment to the NFL. I turned it off and popped in a DVD

I have not watched any football game in over 35 years, and have zero desire to, ever.

I was barely aware of the Superbowl, never heard of Bad Bunny until now, and I don't own a television; I was having too much fun snowshoing in the woods all afternoon!

I watched the game just I have watched every Seahawks game this past season but I was also answering someone's car question on the net and making runs to the fridge for snacks and more beer.
The most borish people I know are people who only have one interest and never do or check anything else be it a car guy, fisherman, golfer or rabid one game sports fan.

By one letter away from perfect irony, the term we use in our house for sports fans, pique-condition types, and such, who unlike Noel Coward's mad dogs and Englishmen not only go out in the midday sun but actually go running then, is "mad bunny". It only took about 15 seconds for me to discover that Bad Bunny's stuff isn't quite my cup of tea, but it isn't offensive to me either, unlike the mad bunnies.

Well, for you non sports fans, I’ll tell you what would have been poetic justice.

“Sam Darnold, you just won Superbowl 60, wha are you going to do next”

    “I’m going to Disney Land”.
Sam turns to the camera and says..

“Because I ain’t afraid of no ghosts”

    Google it or move along;)

I watched most of it. Probably go down as the worst SB in history. Lack luster teams, no impact players to speak of, no excitement, what a snoozer. Then 14 million people changed the channel at halftime, says it all....

I caught a few commercials and saw most of the halftime show which was pretty good but didn’t understand a word that man sang. On a good note a local boy was MVP and he was excited about going to Disney!! Can’t blame him for wanting to go see Mickey and the gang :D
