History Times Gone By...

My father used to flip cars in the '40s and early '50s.
I was only aware of the scene from our driveway.
One day he blew me away when we stopped at a dealer and he went in.
He shook hands with the salesman they swapped keys, and we went home in a newer car.
Less than ten minutes

 

Not everywhere, nor everyone...
So many "tricks" to deceive(the next owner/user) that they're legendary... even being "imortalized" in various TV shows &/or movies. ;D . & common enough to eventually get statutes passed specifically banning them.
