Technical Timing Marks on the 226 Flathead Ford 6

Hi All,
Question: The timing cover on my Ford 226 engine has 2 pointers coming out of the cover. Which is the correct pointer to line the timing mark on the harmonic balancer when using the timing light to set the time.

Steve, these photos are from the M and H Series manual. My tractor has the 226 H shown with the thin stamped pointers. I've laid eyes on one 254 M that had the dowl pointers. Don't know if it was the case for all produced or not.
