Go to BDS blower online catalog pg7 . Its a good start if you never ran a blower. It also depends on what type of gas & your motor combination 10- 13 would be a good start . I have ran as much as 20 initial on a street motor . It depends on what you are trying to do . Make power or just want to have a blower . If you just like the blower look , take the rotors out . The belt & pullys will make the whine.

There is no specific answer. Too many variables that come into play. In general they like a lot of initial timing. Depending on compression, cam timing and octane of gas you are running will determine what it likes. I would strongly suggest a getting MSD BTM box. Then you can adjust timing under boost with a turn of the knob.

  4. Do you know your cam specs?

  5. Been running my 6-71 with 8lbs boost, 8:1 pistons, at 30 degrees locked in. Has run perfect for 18 years on 92 octane pump gas.
