My next thought in that lane is where does the e brake handle mount? Previously I was going to do a tardel style mount to the side/top of the 39’ trans. I know the bolt pattern between the 39 and this 3 speed are VERY close but ones a cast top and the other… well I’m not sure what a t90 top looks like but right now it’s got a ton plate over the top.

that will stay my first choice but I’m thinking the second choice might be mounting the lever off the trans cross member or similar.

things to think about while driving to work lol

Here is my T90 top. All 6 holes line up on this one. I think there are some that have to have two holes notched. There is some fork mods that must be made. A thing I don't like is the shifter can not be easily removed like Ford & Chevy.
I plan to make a brake mount similar to the one Joey U showed recently on his thread. I'll use the 3 top bolts and one front & one rear trans mount bolts.

That looks beefy enough to make a tardel style mount work just fine. Thanks for the photo!

I was curious about what shifters came on the T-90 figured at worse cut it off and make my own. I’d like it to not stand out

There may have been some Studebaker pickups with floor shifts for the T86? Other brands had versions if they transmission too. Ford used them. I have not tried to remove the leaver from mine but it doesn't look like fun. The tower is pretty tall compared the Ford & Chevy. I have not searched much into what else might be made to work.

Man I done pulled a @Six Ball got home the other day and my driveway had an entire dump truck of mulch in it. We were told to expect between a pickup and a dump truck of mulch. Lol you can’t even seen our cars parked on the other side of this monster.

I’ve been moving wheel barrows of mulch for three days and I’m afraid it’s hardly made a dent yikes!

took an extra day before I got started on it because an estimated 500 to 1000 bees swarmed the tree in my front yard. What a sight to see! I could hear those honey bees across the street! IMG_7707.jpeg that bundle is between 18 and 22 ish inches tall!

they had an over night camp out and then went on their way. I was hoping some would stay around to pollenate the garden but they like to stick together.

hopefully back on the cars soon

When the bees came to the old wood stove on the porch I thought the same thing. Nope they moved in. So I had a friend come and we put them in a box. then a hive. I need to move them to a bigger hive now and add a super to collect honey for us over the summer. They are pollenating everything and no trouble at all and just a little work.
There are several thousand in the swarm you had. You'd have to be ready to catch one in the move nut there are people that do that. I'm spending a lot of time planting vegetables & eliminating the rodents that eat them. Trapped 8 packrats and shot 14 ground squirrels so far. Gotta' get back to the shop and the roadster!

@Six Ball yeah lots and lots of vegetable tending over here as well. I’ve a few local guys who were willing to come scoop them up to a new home but they were gone before anyone made it over. Last summer we had 30-50 that hung around the back garden for a couple months and did a great job

Got some more parts on the way and @BigJoeArt is gonna scoop up the rest of the mulch so his place can look sharp for his open house :) still
Hopeful for some 46 cruising this summer and lots of progress on the A this year still

  18. That much is NOT going to fit in the turtle deck of the T very well. LOL

He took a full car trailer full and I still had more than a pickup truck load left! I filled a friends station wagon twice and now I think I’m left with enough that I can add another layer to three sides of the house and have it gone.

then I can get back to the 46 and hopefully
The A. I’ve got a bunch “figured out” and parts stacking up. I’m ready to get back into it.

@05snopro440 they we’re kind enough to take up my offer of free shoveling and mulch. Thank God. This was/is so much mulch lol

@Six Ball you just have to know Joeys favorite word then it’s not to hard to get him to show up.

I hear ya. We've got 3.5 acres so I have a tractor with a loader. Doing it manually with this much land isn't really an option.

I just keep telling my self it’s better than roofing and it’s lighter than snow. Don’t over do it and it’ll get done.

Death Valley at 120 beats Huston at 80. The most uncomfortable day I remember was a summer day in Dallas where the temp & the humidity were about the same.
