Looks good, I like the headlight treatment. What do you have for a suspension setup.

A picture taken from farther away that shows the whole car on a dead side shot would be more helpful to see the flow of the roof line. From the pics you have posted it looks like you are doing a great job for your first time out. This looks like it has all the makings of a badass car!

NOW I LIKE THIS! You did not cut up a hardtop to build a cool car, from what i see you have done a very good job of taking something less desirable and creating some thing cool! kudos to ya!

  13. Thanks for all the compliments guys, I will post more pictures later. We formed some pieces for the sail panel and got that looking better. It still looks big but I guess its just going to be that way.

It looks good, my '51 was a four door also. Though I still have the ugly short doors on it for now. Some day I will full convert like you, unless I find a whole 2 door car.
The roof lines on a two door are similar unless a business coupe any how.
Good work on the patch panels.

Ok here is a few stealth shots at Timmy,s shop. He has a been burning wire so long I don't think he can see his key board anymore. We worked on the quarters this past week and built new extensions. It is looking better every day. Give him some encouragement he is loosing steam and only a few more grinding wheels from being ready for the body shop. Oh yea don't****** about the gas door he is stuck on keeping it.

If that is your first chop you've got a good eye and an even better future if you decide to persue this as a career.

Nice work! I really like the rear end treatment, especially the way it flows into the rear bumper , looks great with those tailights!

  27. Thanks for the encouragement guys. It is nice to have friends like Red to come over once in a while to help out and keep the torch burning. It is getting there slowly but surely.
