I wonder if Harry Luzaders car was ever run on the street? Looks like his car.

Bowtie coupe great pics. I was at everyone from the unofficial first at the college in Rockville MD to the time I moved to AZ in 80. #0054 is Terry Reilly's 32 roadster it's possibly me standing next to the roadster black hair and glasses, 0052 is Steve ? from South Hampton LI. 0053 is yours truly with my 40 Willys coupe. Those were the days. Gives me some incentive to go through the hundreds of pictures I took. I copied the picture of my Willys hope you don't mind. Thanks again.

What a cool thread! These cars remind me of the styles that got me hooked into Hot Rods.

The Rodder's Journal got in touch with me about that photo and had me send it to them so they could do a hi-res scan of it. They are doing some research on Harry's coupe for a possible feature.

Loth40 great pictures by you also, I recognize a lot of those cars but can't remember the names. Timonium was probably the best run and organized rod run I have ever gone to, and a free "Bull Roast" to match. That's unheard of today.

I can't take credit for keeping it, my brother has been its caretaker for all these years.

Saw this picture in the thread and remembered how this guy with his pickup used to run and win in many of the driving events. I believe he used to tow a camping trailer with that truck to the shows. One of our Club members also competed in the driving events with his Model A Sedan and his biggest challenge was this cool little Roadster Pickup.

My brother and I were there, sadly I have no pictures. Brother in '35 Pick-up, me in a '34 Chevy 5 window. Quite a few Anglias there. Where are they now.
Had to get mine direct from Britain. Must be a lot of dusty ones hiding.

This thread blows my mind, I was 4 yrs old when I was dragged to the event. The cover of street scene showed a view of a line of cars. My dad was stoked to see my mom and 2yr old sister and I standing with his 39 Chevy coupe. A couple years ago I found a stack of old pics from there. Their was a few of posies sedan delivery, I donated the stack of pics to there showroom. We convoyed with some other Delaware Rodders, with breakdowns and running out of gas on the tidings bridge we made the 90 min trip in 9 hours. Dad musta told the story at every show we ever attended.
