I have a question about using tinning butter. Johnsons makes a tinning butter that is used for radiators, and a type used for body lead. Can one work for both applications? I also see where there is some tinning paste that is available- what is that good for? Any advice is appreciated.

I prefer the liquid acid for tinning ... I think the paste leaves residue

    TC,

Johnsons makes the best tinning fluid that I have used ! Eastwoods Tinning Butter is the worst that I have used , because of the residue !

    Good luck,
    Sonny

Yes, us Bohemians/Czechs do have a tendency to drink that pivo(beer).. We have 2 sayings-- Sometimes too much to drink is barely enough AND You can't drink all day if you don't start in the MORNING.
