Tips for removing and replacing springs and shocks on a 63 Cadillac??

I am about replace the factory spring and shocks with Jamco 3" drop coil springs and shocks on my 63 caddy. This is my first one and I am curious if there are any tips, tricks or general words of wisdom when doing this... Thanks.

Listen to the Jamco man...if you don't pay attention to what you're doing...that coil spring can come flying out and literally kill you...
