id like to see both 15 and 16". ive got some 15"x6" wheels but not shure if i want to go 15".
so need to know the rim width i wanna go with before i cut them down. from what ive
seen i think id like to with 4" front and 5" back. but i dont have any idea about the
tire sizes. and ill ride with no fenders.

    thanks!

Well, these will just be generalizations because every car needs specific size tires and rims to look "right".

Since the car is fenderless, if you go with 15 inch rims, lots of guys (me included) go with 5:60 X 15 front and L78 X 15 rear. Rim width is about 4.5 to 5 inches front and about 7 inches rear.

If you go with 16 inch rims, a popular size is 4.50/4.75 front and 7.60 rear. Front rims are usually 4 inchers and back are usually 4.5 inchers.

Again, those are only what some people are running and may or may not give your car the stance and look you are after.
