tire psi ?

    what kind of psi would u put in drag slicks?

    the tiers are M/T white wall slicks 10inch wide 29 1/2 tall and the car combo is:

    55 chevy gasser around 2000 pound
    450hp SBC
    12 bolt on leafs and gas shocks
    wheely bars

    Street car, drag car??? Only 2000 lbs....is the car glass???

    street and strip the car has fiber glass trunk,doors and its got a complet fiber glass flip front. the floor is ally and has no carpit ect.

    too little pressure = no traction
    too much pressure= no traction
    Depends on the foot print of the tires..You will have to test several different pressures..to determine whats best for your car
