Hey guys, This is a bit of a spam... If it's too much please feel free to deleate it. I have to say, if you're in Phoenix and need tires or mounting, ya got to check out Tireworks at 1500 s. Central. Chuck and his guys down there have been handling all my stuff for about ten years now, and don't flinch no matter what I throw at them! Have you brought an early Ford wide five wheel and tire into a shop lately? Not going to happen in most places these days. Like I said, these guys don't flinch! Oh, and they understand powder coated and painted wheels too. Anyway, like I said, I hope this isn't too spammy, but a good, independant shop is so hard to find these days. Oh, phone number is 602 252 5731
Good information. I may be paying them a visit if the boys at my neighborhood Discount Tire balk at mounting my 1966 vintage N.O.S. Goodyear white band wide ovals. Actually, the boys at my local Discount have treated me pretty well. In the past, they have helped me out and dealt with weather checked, 40 year old slicks, Jaguar wire wheels, Chrysler wire wheels and various other combos that most corporate place won't touch with a 10 foot pole. Though I'm not quite sure that I'd trust my magnesium wheels to them.
Yes, Mary and I did get married Saturday afternoon on the beach in Pismo Beach. My youngest nephew Sean walked Mary down the isle while my oldest nephew Chris played "Hawaii 5-0" on his guitar. Had a nice 15-20min cerimony and for the "outro", Chris played "Pipeline". The reception was a nice, relaxed beach party. *****in' day all around. Got back here in town about 10pm last night. I had to work today and Mary had a math test in school.
