tire rub

drove the 29 for the first time yesterday and ruined a front tire. Dosen't take much of a bump in a turn and the tire hits the fender brase/headlight bolt

the spring is a reverse eye. is it better to replace the spring and/or add a spacer over the spring? or?

getting rid of the fender is not an option!

 

how wide is your axle? what wheels/tires and offset?
