I'm looking to purchase tires for my 51 Merc. I'm running 15x6 wheels with 56 Cadillac hubcaps. I wanted to run 670-15 with 3" white walls, but I'm not sure they will fit. My goal is to stay with a narrow looking tire. The car has a stock suspension and I plan to lower it in the near future. Any suggestions on a tire set up? The photo shows 6.00-16" Columbias before the conversion to 15x6 wheels

i have denman G-78's on all mine, the BFG silverton 6-70's are the same height as the G78. they look right at home on a merc.. anything bigger and they look more 40's era. more at home on a big Buick or Caddy..
