Hello. I have been searching around finding the correct tire size to match my 1946 buick.
The rims and tires are 6,5x15 with 8.20x15 tires.

I need new tires so I thought you could help me out.
The car will be lowered by 3" front and back. Will a G78x15 coker with a 31/4 WW (7.10 wich was original) suit the car or will the tire be to small ?
I have been looking through posts and build ups but cant find the tires sizes.

Call Coker or get a copy of their catalogue. There is a conversion table in it.

    Which series Buick ?
A Special would look fine with 7.10s, a Super should run a 7.60, 8.20s on the Roadmaster .

^^^^^^^ I agree,........the big body Buick you have pictured in your other thread needs bigger than 7.10 tires. 7.60 would be the minimum I would recommend.

Its A Roadmaster Model. So 8.20 would be a L78 then acording to the conversion table.
Is there a difference in ride between a 8.00 and a G Version (for example) of radials or is it a look of the the sidewall?

I'm running 225's on the back and 215's on the front of my 49 Buick Super from Diamond Back on stock rims.

Every '40s & '50s car or truck I've used on the road has handled better with radials than bias. The "trad" appearance means more to some than anything ...
