Technical tire sizes

    Can someone out there tell me what the new corresponding numbers for old tires listed as 670 15 and 800 15 would be thanks Tom

  4. Take that chart with a grain of salt... You'll find that actual tire size can vary by a lot. Those charts will ensure that you get a tire that's the equal or better in terms of load, but diameter/width probably won't match. I usually try to match diameter, then look at width to make sure it'll fit. There can be a fair amount of variation even in 'same' sizes depending on manufacturer or even tire model from the same manufacturer.
