Projects Tire Sizing/Whitewall Question

I am trying to locate some tires, i looked at coker tire and DB tire im just trying to figure out the whitewall sizing, 3" wide whitewall dont seem like much, can some people please post there sizing and how large of whitewall they have with a picture please??

Three inches is huge when it comes to wide whites, but everything is relative. What car are you putting them on?

 

back tires are 3 inch white walls L-78-15. The front are 2 3/4 inch whitewall 5:60 15

 

Yeah 3 inch is very big,i have g78-15 with the 2 3/4 whitewall the proportion to the tire itself is perfect.

 

i am going to be putting a set on my shoebox

 

On my little roadster I have 2 3/4 up front on a 5.60 X 15 and 4 in. on the 6.50 X 16's

I had the same questions. The '46 in my avatar is running Coker G78's, 15 inchers. I believe they have 2 3/4" whitewall. I think they're perfect.
