...Chrome Shelled, Buick powered?, Unchopped Deuces sure stand out in a crowd...I wonder if this came before the A-bone Pic with Hoodlums similarly placed...

...Driven and looking like a late 50s survivor...this Hotrod graced the Grounds of The Jalopy Jam Up...I hope to make it there someday...

Love it, you really hit this one out of the park and then some...So-Cal Plating Inspiration is very complimentary to this work of Hotrod/Custom...could you share a close-up of the Modded Greyhound it looks pretty Swoopy...So much one of a kind in this...

This is the same Hotrod come Highboy 37th?

There was a Tucker at the Dry Lakes looking a little Race/Hotrod wasn't there? It may have been Company endurance testing...can't remember...

  10. I’ve seen the repro Tucker as a custom and pro touring style.
    Looks cool

    Not Dry Lakes...but Nascar...twice...

Quoted..."1950: Driven by Joe Merola, participated in two NASCAR races"

...this Quoted text I believe has been verified to be once and it placed last place in a lesser race...;)

Stogy! Two different Cars. You have a keen eye for Detail. The So-Cal Plating Car was my total Inspiration for the build on this car, it started out as a 1937 Ford Hump Back. It has been on the road since 1995. The Highboy was completed in 2013. The first picture of the Grayhound is on this Car, The second is on the Highboy (THE 37DEUCE )

Thanks @the37thstreet these are really beautiful truly Vintage inspireds with your own inspiration playing a sizable part in it all...that era was certainly a time when many Racers and Street Customs and Hotrods had a very elegant edge in workmanship with Kurtis and others multitasking between the places where 4 wheels left their Mark's...priceless...

37th, if you don't mind edit your post and make those images of the Hood Ornaments fullsize...they deserve it...

Here's some Kurtis Craftsmanship to appreciate...

...This is said to be Pat Campea who along with Harry Oka piloted this racer to around 118mph...I understand the Hotrod was in a fatal track accident before Campea/Oka raced it with Kurtis repairing the Body and formed the Grille...The Spirit of Hotrod was rife with victory and tragedy...

I generally don't get too excited about flathead powered cars but for some odd reason this one is different!;)

It was so hot around that section of the Hotrod the 2 melted off...:D

Honestly that pic looks like it was taken yesterday...staged but nuh uh uh...genuine vintage greatness...

Probably taken with one of those Lieca Cameras the Boss reveres...I totally get it...

There used to be a Tucker at the Sutro Museum near the Cliff House in San Francisco. It was a great looking car. The center steering headlight was so cool! Just think about engineering that.

...anything with an Ardun in it is a standalone...

Anyone know of this Mystery Pic other than seeing it here and there...It does look like good times and it must have sounded like a Hotrod should...

A bit of a Holy Grail...Big block before the Big block...
