Jet, you should post that in the Ryan's Zazzle Thread...you can really see the car easily lost in the graphics which was part of the reason behind it in wartime...here it may have been a showstopper of sorts...they sure did a nice job on it...

Thank you...Glad you enjoy this Thread Ricky...that's exactly one of the deviations that I thought put that Roadster over to the percieved Traditional sidelines along with the Headlight position...

One of the other things that's incredibly awesome about this Thread is it spans the Culture from the early beginnings to the very end...being 1965 in the case of the Hamb...people were doing stuff that was just a thing they perceived as right for the moment at the time...

Jim your Bowtie Show/Hotrod was one of this Threads early movers and shakers...it never loses it's complete fit to the theme with it's powerful presence as a one off with all the trimmings...able to sit with the best of them...you're truly a Picasso of The Art that is Hotrod...aka 1964 with this one...High praise always Hamber...and Thanks for bringing it Bttt Hamber...;)

...this is a Hambers ride and the extended Snout and low Headlight position and everything else works for me...wouldn't change a thing...

...a survivor...lost some of it's vintage soul in it's present livery but it seems mostly superficial thankfully...I hope the new Owner slaps some Piecrusts on it...I also like the modded grill that was coming together and of course doors are for oldies...:D

Seems Gene did have it looking pretty good as shared by a Hamber at the link above...but somewhere along the way they where history...

Just a joke. At the Oakland Roadster Show you had to drive them in & drive them out until Ala Kart came along, at least that was the legend that grew around it. Many of the "show cars" can run but are not really drivable. Which in my mind reduces them to self propelled kinetic sculpture. Not a bad thing if that is how you want to spend your time. The whole thing is personal.

My Hotrod is no luxury to drive either...after an Hour or so it is a good idea to get out and stretch...I accept it and understand comfort was second to the principal and this Blue Sapphire......OOPs Silver Sapphire it was called may have been more posturepedic than mine...but I totally understand what your saying...

I do like to see them out in the element though...again you were fortunate to have been there...I was too but I was weening...:D

This is such a Nasty looking Hotrod...with the pipes like cannons out the sides and the wave of louvers...the stance and the look...everything was spot on...must have been a popular one at the Strip...

...This is a pretty well crafted Gow Job. I like the way they made the hood fit and the big pipes surely provided a symphony for the ears...I wonder what was on top of that Flatty?
