Screenshot_20230908_075311_Instagram.jpg Rockstar just posted this one on Instagram. Really unique looking traditional hot rod

^^^. Besides the roof, the rear tires buried in fender ( maybe widening ) & maybe front wheels moved forward in dented fender. Strange things here

...as acknowledged in the beginning of Thread Koolkat didn't say Deuce Shells were not allowed and yes they were without a doubt a popular add-on. This Roadster still more than qualifies, is a class act with a pretty nicely done Hallock windshield...but Stogy is wondering what the heck is going on with that sedan to the left of the roadster in background of the bottom pic...is it on massive dually tires or is it barrels for a lift...looks a bit like either a postal deal or a sand buggy...

I've seen this many times and haven't read the story, but staring at it today I see a 5w Coupe underneath it all...wonder if the trunk/rumble is still under the Carson style top or cut away to make a phaeton like deal?

...Don't know where this ended up but what a class act...it was Hamber @Badfella's in the Thread above...

I'm pretty sure it's made a few appearances here and here's another...because it just doesn't get any better when you nail a look...its been through some engine swaps but period creep was in the mix therefore justified...

Happy Birthday Badfella...a great way to dig up past excellence...

Fierce competitors...Ole 93 in the background went through many changes competing in road racing full of europes finest...they sure stood out amongst the pack and held their own...Like all types of racing the guys behind it were mechanical geniuses and pushed these to their limits in every way...

I'm going to mention @296ardun and @Pete1 if I'm hopefully not mistaken as being involved in this racing in varying degrees...

Hope you fellas chime in...I believe one was a 32 ford Coupe...

Pete posted in this great Thread above...looks to have been a Roadster...or a cutdown coupe...

This was a time when the racers were pretty sharp looking without a ton of bars everywhere...I know...dangerous as hell but they really looked like Street Hotrods on the track...it must have been exciting to watch them...

I was never involved in road racing...my neighbor from Pasadena CA, Jim Busby, dominated it.

I zoomed in for a better look at the dually sedan but only came up with more questions. Like what are those two guys doing back there lmao
