They look different to me. But if the fronts were commercially available, I'd get a couple fer sure. Gary

Posie has vision unique to himself and his retaining the roots is evident. I am surprised he didn't join/blend the rear section to the main body as it looks a little disjointed to me but everything was done to the nines regardless and it yes is a bit streetroddy as DDDenny(Post#942) said but has a lot of the elegance of back in the day as well. It reminds me of the Phantom Corsair in a way as in what to make of it. The fenders are yes similar by design but are definitely sized differently with the front being longer. Gary looking into this car I happened upon some European cars sharing very similar fender styles. They are of course not exactly the same. I would bet that he would wheel off a set if it was requested of them. Costing who knows...Givem a call...;)

Well Dumprat I guess it has clearly met the theme or critera of Koolkats original post. Posies has a bit of Edsel in him. I see many interesting mods to that car that reflect on our elegant automotive past. It is also very interesting how much its stance and look shares with 3dns Hotrod.

I glad your enjoying the variety...I am so thankful for all involved capturing these moments some with stories for us to enjoy and reflect good or not so.

I'm wondering how much weight was saved punching all those holes in that coupe.

Ya have to save all the slugs and the metal shavings to really know for sure. Or just weigh the car before and after? Man hour cost? Hole saw expense? Does it whistle now? Is the aero drag better or worse after the Swiss treatment? LOL. Gary

Someone here must remember that ole racer and how well it ran. It is a well executed pattern...extreme but done with precision. Perhaps a trunk skin and a little off genuine Henry 32.

Funny theres no louvers in the trunk...:D

  20. The see through hood was quite popular in the early seventies.

Really interesting treatment to a touring,
    Unfortunately not totally Hamb friendly
however worthy of a look as many elements
    are quite appealing.

Like many here on the Hamb I was in diapers or shall I put it...perhaps just elements split amongst the parents yet to be united when there was people, many of you members here documenting this history. Thanks so much. George Klass is one of these individuals. I have picked a series of race machines gracing his pages of archives of cool...which could easily pass for and may have been street worthy with attitude.
