I'd like to see the front of this one and the tan Chevy above should have a 302 GMC!

Sixball quoted from the original posters thread and I suspect you may have already checked it out...he said "I did come across a sole remaining photo my 32 Essex Coupe. I had this in 1959 or '60, was in the military, and could not keep in on base (no fenders). Olds engine, '34 Ford grille."
I hope as in so many of these glimpses into the past it may have survived.
    You never know.
It is truly amazing how rare some of these glimpses are. Glad I found it to share.

34 Ford Grille on that coupe may have looked ok.
Actually the original grille was pretty stylish.

The hood is really nice too. It is interesting that in some of the late twenties and early thirties Chevy actually out sold Ford and Essex was right in the mix. I can only guess that the massive amount os wood in the Chevy and Essex low survival rate. Maybe the high demand for Essex frames for race cars played a part too.

Yes I agree it should come as pictured for the price...well at least if it is removed as it says, be the same tach or one of equal value. It certainly is not without a few issues as with anything.

I'm a big fan of building cars in an era, but with a style that is your own. There are some really cool cars on here that do exactly that.

Mixed opinions were plenty...I think its one of the coolest Hotrods I have laid eyes on...in this fendered state...I would love to watch the show. Video on this beast would be awesome.

I would love to see that, despite I like the picture, as is.

That's a very nice girl, she might have been famous.
I've seen a lot of modern pictures of young female stars getting out of cars, and I still like this one the best!
