Change the color of the wheels...don't think wires would suit the look you've got...try yellow on the wheels...that'll sure wake up the hubcaps...and the overall look of the car.

Some upper door frames on that car would look nice.

Seriously, I'd make the wheels black. I like that look.

That's a really good picture, love the background, nice lookin' chick and everything framed up really well. Very nice.

I agree with that. I think red wheels are fine; your car has a good look, it just needs a little more finish work.

I just did my roadster in satin black with orange wheels--people say it really brightens up the car---i think so too

Chrome reverses with knock-off center spinners!

  16. I'm tired of seeing them on Rambler 4 doors, painted flat black over rust and dents.

Sorry, but you've already made the right color choice. The red wheels look perfect with the black car and flames. I was going to suggest cream colored wheels, until I saw the flames. And I agree with Squablow - that first picture is awesome.

Radir Tri Rib. I could just see some nice tri ribs with some whitewalls. I think they would really add to the car.

  20. One of the guys here on the HAMB runs green wheels on a roadster.
    It's a good look.
The wheel color looks like what's called Apple Green to me.

A green trending toward a bright lime green would work too.

Here's a blue wheel, I have yet to see another blue wheel close to this shade.
A powder color called Aegean Blue fwiw.

The car will probably - this week anyway - end up gloss black.

Here it is with Caddie wires.:D :) (wish I had the camera that took the pic)

  24. I personally am not crazy about fenderless 35-36 fords, but yours looks different and cool. If it were mine i'd prolly lose the flames and cut the roof off to make it a tub.

nice car indeed, but i would loose the beauty rings and caps and go with black rims, smaller caps or chrome lugnuts....with the whitewalls of course

whitewalls with black powdercoated spoked rims would be sinister. I dig the look of the car and any color would probably be cool. Hell, paint them any of your favorite color and put some nice clear on them and some chrome lugs with push through center bullits!!!
You could get a set of the salt flat specials that cragar makes (I think) and get the coated with that dowstuff that makes them kinda goldish..probably pricy but very racy looking!

Hmm...I'm sure you already have plenty of ideas flowing now. How 'bout one more??
White. Leave the trim rings & centers.
I've always dug the shit outta cars w/ WWW's and white wheels w/ a few hints of stainless. Just my $0.02.
