I live in New York. Cars prior to 1973 were not ***led. Those pre 73 cars were issued a Transferable registration. This works just fine inside the State. Selling outside of New York many states will not accept the Transferable Registration a Proof of Ownership. I've heard that PA offers ***les to out of state vintage cars. By that method or any other can anyone ***ist me in how to acquire a valid ***le? Ron

I sold a car with a NYS transferable registration to a fellow HAMBer who lived in PA, a couple of years ago and he had no problem securing a PA ***le.

  3. I've bought 2 hot rods out of NYS on prior registrations. Re ***led them in my name in M***achusetts with the reg. and a notarized bill of sale.

I know it worked in MD also, but check for a PA MVA website. Might have something on ***ling out of state vehicles.

Are you asking if PA will give you a ***le for your car, while you live in NY?
I'm not sure why they would.
Or are you selling to someone in PA?
Despite being a little costly, getting a ***le here is relatively straightforward if you go to the right fast tag.
