Hot Rods Title Q for 30 Model A

Does anyone know if you can use a 30 coupe title for a truck or does it say "truck", etc. on the title?

 

I would say yes since you threw the coupe body away and put a truck body on your frame.. That is what you did, right????

 

Says Truck on Title.

 

Why would someone do that?

 

My model A's title was blank when I got it. I kindly asked the DMV lady to put coupe on the body section. She had me sign a statement of facts, Basically saying that yes, I am putting a coupe body on this frame.

 

I tree branch crushed it? Rolled....I can think of lots of reasons.

 

Didn't throw away a coupe body or get crushed by a tree...geez...just a question.

 

Maybe not, but you wouldn't want to get pulled over and have the wrong info. better to get it done right.

 

Does the vin on the frame match the title? If that is the case there is a great possibility that someone's grandpa rolled the coupe body off the frame during WWII and put a truck cab and bed on it so he could get more ration stamps for gas and tires.

 

If your throwing it away i will take it
