    you don't need no stinkin' title in california! [​IMG] take a bill of sale down to the DMV and tell'em what you're doing.if the thing has been unregistered for 5 years or more it's OFF THEIR COMPUTER.they will then have you haul it to the CHP so the nice officer can check the numbers.then go back to the DMV and pay up-george

    Thanks for the information. The problem is that this is an all new car, new frame rails, no numbers anywhere. I would like to register it as a 1928 Ford.

    Buy a junk A bone engine or frame and see if vin # clear If it is stamp it in your frame and go have it inspected. If its not change 3s to or 8s to 3s 8s etc till you get a clear combo then stamp away. Hop this helps [​IMG]
