I have a chevelle with one vin number on it and a ***le with another .is there anyone who could sell me a vin plate with matching ***le or a good 69 chevelle ***le? Or is there anyway i can search the numbers i have?the car has 13 numbers and the ***le only has 7 anything would be appreciated thanks steve
#1: You're in the wrong place. This site is for pre-64 period correct hot rods. #2: What you are asking for is Illegal. #3: I'm getting some popcorn.
Perhaps, although it seems odd for it to happen on such a new car, the ***le number is an engine number? Worth checking before doing any of this illegal ****.
Start by having the car's true VIN number checked by a licensed vehicle verifier, or peace officer. Major body parts may have been replaced, but there are several sets of the vin numbers in hidden places they can look for. Who knows, you may have the proper ***le. ---John If you just purchased this car, it should be the seller's duty to be sure the paperwork is clear. And yes, like the two responses above state, avoid going the fraudulent route. ---John
No '69 Chevelle has 7 numbers in the true VIN. Could be they used the cowl tag, too, check the numbers on that.
