To all of you, I'm a newer member and I really have to say that all these stories of Car wrecks and peoples help and concern for the victims, Speedy help in situations like that and the help to find, track and return stolen vehicles and such things, Break downs on the road... All of you are truly amazing people. Its very warming to the heart and soul that there is still good people and hero's around. And willing to do the right thing in extreme situations. Hot rodders in general I have found are a different breed than the "normal" people. I am guilty of the fact that I will drive by a regular car that has broke down on the side of the highway and think "that ****s" and keep driving. when I see a fellow hot rodder broke down I will stop and try to help. even to the point of loading him/her on my trailer to get them to where they can repair their car. I would be willing to bet that most of the people on this board would stop to try to help a fellow hot rodder. Just part of what makes "us" different from "them". Just like racing, if we are in the pits and you need a part to be able to run & I have it I will loan it to you. once we are on the track no special treatment. If I can beat you, you are gonna lose.
thanks. I myself have been wanting to throw down the 50 bucks to join the alliance but never seem to be 50 bucks ahead. If I am i usually end up buying a car part or something. Anyways thanks. I am sure everyone on here appreciates it.
Thanks, I think the 24/7 answer service is one of the great features of the HAMB. Once you get to know who's who, you'll feel like you have known them forever, good people from all over the world.
You will find that this sight has a tendency to attract a more serious type of hot rodder, and we will nerf each other in type one minute, but just as quickly pull together to help each other the next. This is what pulled me not only into the sight, but into actually turning on a computer so I could! Now if we could figure out a way to actually share a beer world wide...

It's true, what you're saying. This is a great bunch of folks and I feel priveleged to be part of the HAMB. I've been helped out by total strangers more than once and have even been given great prices on purchases (outside of being an Alliance member) from other HAMBers just because I was a member. I'm sure you will experience the same thing as you seem to have the right at***ude about it. Just remember to reciprocate and p*** it on. BTW, thanks fellow HAMBers!
