Hey SG, Sorry, when I saw the display, I was looking at the magazine and Mike Cook walked up, so we started talking. When he found out I had the only action films in color of his dad's 37 Chevy Coupe at Lion's Dragstrip, he immediately wanted to trade something for a copy of the film I took. Instead of just the film, I sent him the whole 1957 season to late fall 1960 seasons, including the 1964 All Gas Coupe/Sedan meet where the "Black Widow" made its debut. So, identifying the magazine took back seat to our conversation about those early drag racing years. He was grateful and it was fun talking to him. Their collection is one of the best all around drag race vehicles and display cases of the top racers of the day.
