-4 Three feet of snow drifted across the front of the shop 30' wide. 55 in the shop. Guess where the car broke down. In the garage where its -4. Put a hose on the pickup exhaust and ran it outside. Rolled down the PU windows and turned on the heater. In a half hour it was 50 in the garage and warming. Couple hours and the Caddy was running again and I was not cold. Cost about 3 dollars worth of gas.

I brought a few small things into the house that I can work on.
Does anyone know if spray paint cans get ruined from the cold?

Sounds like you need a good forest fire to warm things up right about now...

My garage was the original house on the property. An early 40's house built by southern folks coming up to make war materials during WWII. Has septic, bay windows, and lucky me, a gas full house furnace.

65 degrees, cable TV, and dry. Now if I only knew what I was doing, I could be productive!

yep. pretty brisk dowm here in kent, ohio too. I went out to my shop to finish up a little wetsanding, only to find a solid chunk of ice in my sanding bucket. just left it over night too. I took that as a hint, and went back into the office to do some "research " at my desk where it's warm.

Adding more braces from my cab-firewall on my F-100 to S-10 floor pan. This worked well for a couple of feet (and minutes)
