Nope sorry, not for me. Kind of like that Coral colour but thats about as close to pink as i'd go and probably lose my club jacket and get a kicking in the process. Each to their own, makes you happy then why not.
My 78 mercury cougar sedan mad max car had a latex house paint bright pink roof for a few years. That was apparently the cause of some jack***es in a van tailgating, p***ing, and then throwing a beer bottle and a grade stake at me while driving down I-5. The bottle hit the car, the grade stake luckily didn't. If it'd been more than that, well, that's what the police car push bars on the front are for. If anything it sorta cemented my desire to paint something on the car pink. I kinda like the idea of a tank with a doily.
I once had an old school bus cut down as a ramp truck. got stopped by the local law. couldn't find anything wrong, but told me I couldn't have the school bus yellow on the roof. (someone might mistake it for a bus...yeah right) anyway, I went home and mixed some old paint I had and ended up with a pink and blue two tone paint job. next time he saw me, he slapped his head, rolled his eye's and drove off. here the before and after.
I've always wondered why pink isn't considered light red, like light blue or light gray, etc? People wear dark and light blue together but never red and "light red" together. Oh, and pink is is a femmie color to me in clothes or vehicle, pretty, but femmie.
NADS that paint RULES! A friend of mine had a 56 Ford Vic that was pink and black, all stock looking but the wheels and super nice....it had HOT 427 Ford in it..I'm not a Ford guy and don't car much for pink, BUT, i woulda drove that one! Tony
Back in the 70's, I painted a 57 Nomad coral with a white roof, looked ***s! Would like to find some of that lacquer for my grand daughters pedal car! I found a color in a waterborn line that I like, but I just can't bring myself to paint my g-daughter's pedal car "****star pink"!
There is nothing wrong with pink, I mean Coral on the right car. I am proud to own and drive this pink car. Besides, the ladies love it.
I don’t know why, but pink has never attracted me. I am so not turned on with pink. I used to think that pink is for girls, until I met one who said she too can’t stand pink on car, but she had no problem wearing pink colored dresses.
Nothing wrong with pink on a car if you don't mind being asked if you're the Mary Kay or Avon lady all the time, I guess. Actually one of my favorite car colors is a '59-'60 Pontiac color, Sierra Copper I think it's called. Metallic copper but with a pinkish hue to it. On the right car it's really sharp -
