i have been racing, workin on and building hot rods for over 40 years, while i have gotten to the point where i can make the hobby pay for its self i can make a lot more money in real estate, you should look at this as something you love rather than a profitable business.
well, well preach on brother. as a guy that does this for a living i know all to well about the money and the guys that "just want to turn a dollar" they buy cars that they think people want and ****er over peices of **** and sell them as hotrods. and make tons. i think this guy just doesnt want to loose his ***. hes obviously new to the hobby, and hes just lookin for direction. and like always "******** harry" has got to flex his nuts. but to answer the question, rod it ,chop it,clip it, and put a dependable motor in it and drive it untill you sell it, then add 20$ for every time someone looked at it and smiled to the price that you sold it for. theres your profit.
well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ok then....... i think i will clean them up and sell them. no restorations on these. however the 51 ford and the 51 belair might get 350's and 4l60's, and maybe i'll chop them some... thanks for all the input.. like i said i should have asked to restore or hot rod.......
What do you want the most ? whats your dream car ? is it that chevy ? sounds like not. So sell it ang get something to have some really fun. IMHO our cars will never be investments. All Cars, say hot rods, new cars or whatever are money wasters.., always. At least you are a car dealer. Are you ?
