To scallop or not to scallop, that be the question.

  2. Darken the lower pic up to match the upper pic.

It can be scalloped to enhabce the lines but so far the only scallps that I have seen here just make it look boxey. This is not stated to be offensive to the renderer, it is just an observation. The car looks almost as short and boxy as an American bantum as it is, long lean scallops will stretch it out a bit where as short fat scallops make it look even boxier.

Maybe I will play with it a bit when I get home today, I am not as good with photochop as some but I think I can get my idea across. Tne maybe someone can take what i do and make it right.

I still think that pin stripse are correct for the car. That or go full blown compe***ian and letter it with all the correct lettering as if it had been raced in the '60s.

Ok fellas, heres the original pic thats had some adjustment to make it similar to the scalloped version I did.

I admit im more partial to the custom look on this particular type of rod but its up to Probesport to make the decision here. I just wanted to provide him a quick (and cheap) visual example to help him with his choice. Although I have alot of respect for Porkand******s opinons, I dont know if I agree on shelling out money for an artist render at this point. Maybe if and when he decided to go with the custom paint, then working up comps on some various designs would be more logical and a better use of the additional $ in my opinion.

I kinda dig the scalloped version. (Looks like a Hot-Wheels), but It also looks a little more angry (meaning it could stare down another car) with the clean look.

Its up to you. You could just do one side, then if ya hate it wetsand all your troubles away. Or love it and you only gotta do the other side.

That's what I did when I tried the first version. I have some changes to make to the car over winter so I will probably scallop it before I do since I will be doing a full repaint regardless.
