Hot Rods Todays quest......recovering an old "Hotrod Model A"

So, several days ago I get a message on Facebook from a friend a few counties away telling me there is a little lady who's husband has p***ed away and she wants to get rid of a Model A Coupe and being as I build "Hotrods" he figured I might want it. I called the little lady and here is the story I got. About 30 years ago her husband brought this 1930 Model A rumble seat coupe hotrod, as she calls it, back here from California. He died several years ago and it is at their "home place" just out of Charleston, WV up on a hill that know one has driven on for years and it is all grown up and will take a few people, chainsaws, and a four wheel drive truck to get it out. My first thought was going to be a rusted down stock Model A that may be to rough to fool with, but I still would end up getting it because that's what I always do. Then in talking to her more I asked her what makes it a Hotrod. She said, "well its got a flathead V8 in it and he used to race it in California when he was a kid. OH ****!..........Anyhow, I am leaving for Charleston now.....in a few hours I will post pictures of what I find.

I know you are excited to tell everyone but every time a story like this is posted without the photos first it turns into a mess. You should really wait until you have the photos because this will be many pages long by the time you get back,all asking for the pics.
