G'day guys Anyone have any spec details of the Todd Walling roadster as built by Vern (?) Tardel - Im interested in reproducing the look on my own 27 prject and judging by the side-on shots on the REX Rods site its got a pretty extreme rake. AV8 any details? Help much appreciated Steve
The roadster was built by Keith Tardel, not Vern. I'm rushed for time right now but will try to get back to this thread later.
http://www.rexrods.com/Rods/Walling/index.html There are various pics through out the site... Look in the "photo album"... Todd is an incredibly nice guy and that '27 is the best looking '27 roadster EVER built in my opinion. I know those are big words, but ya gotta see the car... It's amazing.

Flattiesteve: What's the plan with your T? I'm gathering pace acquiring parts for a 27T roadster project myself. Current thoughts are for a 6-carbed 390 Cad backed by a lasalle trans running a Borg-warner diff, 16" solids and mustang brakes (finned drums!) n a 29 Dodge chassis....but still got to acquire a few things!
Wow... I wasn't gonna put a duece grill on my car but after seeing that one, I'm having 2nd thoughts.... that thing is sweet!
noticed the cochran coupe? give me goose bumps! - is that Ryan's coupe?..........also noticed that the webpage was done by Ryan - Sweet site!
Yups...Ryan's seldom seen A...I think Ryan's mugshots appeared more times than that cool rod ... Pics Ryan??? P>S That site is killer (rexrods.com) cheers MAIKI
Is it just me? I think the 26-27 roadster body is just a thing of ABSOLUTE beauty! Prettier than the deuce(!). Especially the curve to the rear deck (in both planes)...and the cowl! Makes an "A"or deuce look porky. Beautiful car Eyeball (n Walling/Tardel too)!!
