Hi, I'm currently wrenching on bikes full time and dyno tuning, but started with RC cars at about 8, ...then a go-kart at 10, then dirtbikes, got a job at a GM dealer at 15, Diesel tech in the Army at 21, then got into bikes at about 25, crew chief of a GSXR 1000 powered rail dragster team at 32. I'm 37 now, still ASE certified, and fully immersed in projects. I drive a 47 International Harvester KB-1 1/2 ton pickup with a 345 4 speed daily, ...to drop off my 8 month old at my sister-in-laws before work. I'm building my dad a somewhat traditional 54 F-100 with a 302/AOD, and Torque Thrusts and the wife a 56 Dodge Coronet 4 door wagon g***er with a straight axle. I've been riding a 64 Triumph Bonneville for the past 14 years and am currently reconfiguring it for the 7th time. That's me. I've been doing google searches for years and keep landing here, so I figured I'd make it so I can put in my two cents. Glad this is here. Zilla
Welcome from Montana. Man, you stirred some **** up today! I like the binder and the at***ude. Not everyone is a retired guy with a good budget. I'm also a guy in his 30's with kids and I've got a '35 ford I'm scratching together out of junk I can afford... It will be a while before paint too.
