Hi guys I have always been around cars. I'm 31,I have been wanting a hot rod. But past few years, I have seen more and more rats rods. I just went to a show a few weeks ago. My dad took his 61 Falcon that has fender skirts and a continental kit dual antennas. It's a little ratty, but cool.
Then he said you want a truck, there a old Ford in the paper. So I called on this truck. Ended up with a 1950 F-1 no motor or trans with clear title for $200, and a $40 towing bill. I'm just working on the frame got it down to the ground. Then the body which is in decent shape. Compared to what I have seen. I plan a 50's olds or caddy mill and tranny.

Yes sir that's the same one. A customer did the seats and door panels, and has a headliner in it. It's still alive and kickin. He took the stickers off the windows though.

Welcome. I'm from Blissfield, just across the border in MI.

Cool on the F-1. My 13 yo son is hopping for one of those as well. I found a rotted 56 for him but he said no, too far gone. He's smarter than I am...

Hey I know where a 49 plymouth 2dr is. No motor or trans with clear Ohio title for 400. Also this guy has some ford cabs with no titles for 200 to 300 each and a front end for like 300. But no frames for the trucks. I looked at the trucks but Ohio is hard to get titles.
danimal do you have any rides? Good luck with the son finding a truck. The Plymought and cabs are over by Norwalk. If your interested, I'll be going down that way for work. If your interested i could get you a number. The cabs are pretty solid, It's some that gets stuff and scrap metals. So, he probably scrapped the frames of the trucks. But like I'm just planing on some type old looking flatbed for mine. My bed is shot, but good fenders.

I've got a few '54 Chevy 4 doors. One that actually runs. I'm trying to get it done to take to the show in Blissfield on the 16th of July. It runs and is ugly but its mine!

Plymouth sounds cool. Pictures would be sweet. I've got a '54 Chevy truck in pieces as well. My son wants to do the S10 frame swap in the tech section. Anyone done it with a Ranger? That be cool, Chev on Chev/Ford on Ford, one of each...
