Tom Medley garage fire?

Tom visited Jay Leno over the weekend, filmed a little video that will appear on Jay's website (jaylenosgarage.com). See Pewsplace.com, todays posting for pictures

 

The backfire was through the carb (air cleaner removed) and Tom had the car pulled so far close to his work bench, he could not get the hood up. Luckily the Good Lord spared this legend and great guy...

 

Just read in the January Street Rodder that they finished his car!

 

The latest issue of The Rodder's Journal (Number 58) has a great article on Tom and the completed '40 coupe. Pat Ganahl did a great job of writing and Steve ****an did his usual outstanding photography.
The coupe is happily back in Tom's possession. He turns 93 years young later this month.

 

Tom had the car at the 65th Hot Rod Anniversery deal in Pomona today and it looked GREAT!!!

 

It's great how people stepped up to make the resurrection happen. Nice to see he's out enjoying it.
