Love to talk to anyone, a great love for studebakers mainly 53/54 coups I am very lucky to have owned a 53 commander conv. and still own a 54 Bill Frick studillac That is still under const. And if I die under it I'll go doing what I loved. Anyone have info on studillac please feel free to give me a shout Or anyone want to know more about them also Tom
A guy name Bill Frick built fordillac's in early 50's and when the 53 studie coupe's came out he said there was only one thing wrong with that car. It's under powered He opened a shop in rockville center L. I. N.Y. he got brand new studebaker commander coupe and brand new caddy engine w/ caddy auto trans. or a caddy lasalle box He built close too 200 of them between 53/54 I only know of 3 that still exits today.
