Went to a miniature engine show on Saturday at the A C D Museum in Auburn lndiana. Everything from tiny hit or miss engines that could sit atop a quarter to working 4, 6, & 8 cylinder auto engines; multi-cylinder rotary aircraft engines, hundreds of engines of every description, tiny transmissions and rear axles to go with the engines; miniature tools( a 2 in.long ratchet complete with sockets and a 1 in.long pair of working Vise Grips!),a 2 ft.long Whizzer motor bike that runs! Lots more but l'll let the pictures tell the story.
At the Winfield steam and gas engine show there was always a group that set up displays of their miniature engines they had machined . One year there was a steam locomotive that was 2 feet long . Amazing skills .
