Tonight in about 30 minutes the American Pickers show on The History Channel will be at Wings Castle. Pete was a HAMB member loved history and cars. He died just about a year ago in his MORGAN three wheeler. Really miss him, he inspired a lot of people. Bob

  4. Pete was a friend for many years when I was living in Poughkeepsie NY I wish I could get that show here . I was good friends with a guy who grew up in Millbrook . One day he says lets go ride over to my friends place I almost fell off my bike when rode up there .

  7. i miss Pete.
he had a great sense of humor, had an amazing work ethic, artistic ability, and was a great craftsman. he never stopped. he built things well, and added art to everything he did.
i worked on that 1907 caddy. i remember him walking into the shop and saying "by the time this gets finished it will be an antique"

  8. I watched the show last night and was floored by his work....Thanks for the tip.

Pete was a class act, marched to a different drummer, simple as that. It was a pleasure to know him and he is missed. Semper Fi

Agree wth everyone, very cool space. I bet you could spend weeks just walking around looking at the space and what fills it. Was happy to see the bike kick to life

  17. Tony gives tours once a week. i have been through the castle a bunch of times and always see different "stuff". there is detail in every corner. Pete stuck little "sculptures" in places nobody would look or expect.
    Pete loved his old cars!

They never mentioned the cars Pete built for use in movies like "Once A Time in America". Thought it was really cool that he used some elephants to move stones around on the property. He found that 1907 Cadillac at Hershey it took the former owner the better part of his life getting it out of Egypt, when he did he was too old to do anything with it. Bob
