Very respectable time. If you drive that on the street regularly that must be a thrill a minute.(depending on throttle application). [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Yea it's very streetable (except for a slightly rich idle) & with the overdrive I.m able to knock down 12-13 mpg.
It does get street driven regularly , & you have to be careful with the throttle application. The other day Me & the Misses were leavin Home Depot, when I let the heavy traffic get to me (couldn't get out to the main road) & a little to much throttle & we did a 180 across 3 lanes [IMG]
You should'a seen the look on those Mo Fo faces

    wingnutz,
My best 60' time was 1.85. I would like to try it with some slicks or even drag radials, I have to feather it off the line or the tires go up in smoke. I would guess the weight at 2600 lbs.

  12. "Slippery Sixties" Those are actually good times on street tires..., those times are about as good as some Cheater Slick 60 ftr's!!

Ryan ran cheater slicks at Mokan and was smoking'em through the 60 ftr's and krupanut was greasey off the line as well (has an open rear end) and still no improvement over his street tires! [IMG] (Looked tougher though... [IMG]!)

I have heard mixed reviews about cheater slicks so I'd have to recommend "Real" slicks if you want to lower your times! [IMG]

Is your car "Caged"...? Because if you start getting your combination to work any better..., the track officials won't let you run!!!

    Have fun!

A 1.8 60 foot? Damn, that kicks ass for a street car.

You did what most car guys only talk about. Everybody THINKS thier car runs 12s till they actually hit the strip.

Congrats, those are some VERY respectable REAL world numbers.

PS, I hope to see you at the HAMB Drags..I head right through Mississippi on the way.

    See ya, -Abone.

Yea I know if I go much faster they want a 6 point cage, I thought about puttin one in, but it's tight in there already and it is a street car. I would love to be at the HAMB Drags but I'm afraid I won't make it this year. Abone what part of MS. do you go thro on the way?
