I notice that this hill climb is only open to "Ford" cars..!!!!

What is the problem???? Are all of these "Ford" car owners afraid of our four cylinder
    Chevy powered cars??

Guess the "Ford" cars can not take on the compe***ion??

    Too bad!!

That looks like a fun time. I would love the history and weather where you live but the traffic would make me crazier.

    Doug,

It was great meeting you out there today. Me and Frank were betting you'd come through with exceptional photography of the event and you didn't disappoint.

What a great event and a perfect day to watch the hot rods run. It was amazing weather I even came back with a FREE sunburn!!

The F.A.S.T. group sure put on a cool event. I've never seen so many 4-banger burn outs.

    Regards,

    Chris

Thanks for posting your great pics of the event. I attended today and forgot my camera and was glad to see someone captured today's great show.

  17. I went to one of there runs about 10 years ago, it was up in the gold country of Northern CA, one of the best times I've ever had. The guy in the yellow car with black checkers, is driving with hand controls, and his wife drives the purple 26/27 roadster. That's just a whole lotta fun. Dean

I don't know about states other than California, but we had to have our registration visible from the outside of the car back in the 1960's.
Most folks had these spring gizmos that held your registration on the steering column. Some other people would put them on the visor.
Can you imagine today the chaos that this would cause?
Women having their address available to anyone looking in their car, or some thief knowing where you parked your car every night?
Everything from crooks to stalkers to murderers knowing where to find you.
Anyways....it's been a LONG time since I've seen one of these.
