28 speaker stereo surround sound with a CD changer hid in the trunk with a tube AM in the dash that th owner turns on when parked and it's show off time.
Full set of curved glass SW guages that don't work because ya quit bothering ta even try to hook them up, but they look cool!

Polyester/cotton blend Mexican blankets.

Firestone WWWs that weren't made by Firestone.
Firestone tires made by Bridgestone.
Urethane clearcoats on metalflake
Monster shirts with more colors than a black screen print and some airbrushed day-glo paint.
Screen printed Monster shirts instead of just air brush and black felt laundry marker.
Unleaded gas.
Multi-grade oil.
Filter cigarettes.
"Lite" anything.
4" cuffs with a 60s custom.

Fake wire wheel hubcaps (I've got them on my Astro Van along with the flat black paint that looks like primer and the Hot Rod Deluxe sticker in the window, and the Cadillac crests and wreaths and "Brougham" on the "D" pillars, and it's all for a put on...
but I wouldn't put those fake knock offs on anything!

Repo...believe it or not. MBL's boobs are REAL. When he is laying down, they kind of flatten out and do a little thing where they kinda roll under his arms.

The dummy spot thing sucks, so do unhooked lakes pipes. I'm taking my fucking dummy spots off my '54 Chevy during the next go around on redoing the top. I'm putting in a '47 Plymouth back window, which in itself could be considered fake.
Here's a couple more for your awesome list oldcarglassholeguy, fake hood pins and the worst one in my estimation, fake jockey shifters. That shit just burns me up.

The welding up of the back doors is annoying but I will give the 'over the pond' guys a little leeway. They don't have the choice we have, so they've gotta make do. But some of them Swede mothers do the job right, they're hacked up 4 doors actually look like real original 2 doors.

And Dr. Knobchieze was not fake.

If anyone knows someone with a 67-8 Camaro that wants to be "real" I have a set of doors with about 20 real bullet holes. Blown all to hell. 30.06. Tell everyone that they came off Bonnie & Clyde's grandson son Leroy's death car. In about 1978 bought Camaro wrecked to salvage parts for 34 5w I was building. Before I could sell the good parts I didnt need for 34 my little brother used doors for target practice. Any takers? Cheap!

Here's an example of FAKE. You'll note no throttle cables, but that's OK as you scan the solid plate carb adapter, then count the spacers, etc.

What I don't get Bell is that you hung on to those pieces of shit for 25 years.

OH... My chevy II has six cylinder emblems on the fenders, (came with straight six), and I have a 406 sbc in it. Is that fake? [IMG]

15. Well there goes my idea of painting "fake" flames on the front of my car.
